CETTEN is Contact point:
A point where a curve or surface touches a straight line.
A point where different things touch or match.

Philosophy

A point of contact between people.
The point where art and people come into contact.
The point where clothes and art meet.
The point where clothes and people come into contact.
By handling used clothing from the past,
delivering it to people in the present,
and interacting with each other,we can create a new future.
There are clothes, there is art, there is philosophy,
and before that, there are people.

Project

This is a project that started since CETTEN met Kosuke Tsumura.
The project aims to create new values by fusing the mixed values of different generations,
under the overarching theme of “intergenerational dialogue”.
The project also places a great emphasis on “circulation” in the process.
The name of the project, “MerZ”, was inspired by the works of Kurt Schwitters, a pioneer of junk art and a master of Dada.
